The committee also recently launched a nutritional program with medical experts from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar to educate workers, contractors and food supply companies about the importance of healthy lifestyles.


Qatar's preparations 

Qatar became host country for 2022 FIFA World Cup on December 2, 2010.

In 2011, the State of Qatar established the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy with the aim of implementing the necessary infrastructure projects to host an impressive, historic version of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and laying out plans and carrying out the operational operations of Qatar as a host country for the tournament, to contribute to accelerating development and achieving goals.
